Experience the magic of the season at Sparkles, the Village of St. Jacobs’ beloved holiday shopping event. Wander through the village as thousands of twinkling lights create a festive atmosphere that captures the true spirit of the holidays.

Explore the village’s many charming shops and eateries, each offering something special for the season. Shop late into the evening on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and enjoy live holiday entertainment throughout the village.

Free horse and trolley rides add to the enchantment, with departures from TriSisters Art House on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m.

Waterloo County Carollers
Thursdays 6–8 p.m.
Fridays 5–8 p.m.
Saturdays 4–7 p.m.
Sundays 2–4 p.m.

The sounds of the season come alive as the Waterloo County Carollers fill the Village of St. Jacobs with festive music and holiday cheer. Their traditional carols and joyful harmonies bring warmth and nostalgia to every corner of the village.

Visit with Santa
Saturdays and Sundays 1–4 p.m.

Bring the whole family to meet Santa and share your holiday wishes. It’s the perfect opportunity for a festive photo and a magical moment that children will remember for years to come.

Burn Barrels with the St. Jacobs Fire Department
Fridays 5–8 p.m.

Warm up by the glow of the burn barrels hosted by the St. Jacobs Fire Department. Enjoy the cozy fires, friendly conversation, and community spirit as you take in the sights and sounds of Sparkles in the village.
