Sensory Saturday
The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery offers an inclusive gallery experience through Sensory Saturdays, a monthly program designed specifically for neurodiverse visitors. Open all day, the program welcomes individuals of all ages and neurodiversity, including ADHD, ASD, OCD, and Sensory Processing Disorder, supporting them throughout their gallery journey.
A dedicated Sensory Environment is available, equipped with calming and engaging tools such as liquid tiles, wiggle chairs, texture tiles, and weighted animals and blankets. These resources help foster comfort, focus, and self-regulation, ensuring every visitor can enjoy the gallery experience at their own pace.
Sensory Saturday will now be on the third Saturday of every month.
